PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY

Mr. Dror Vichansky was born and raised on a kibbutz near the Sea of Galilee. He is a licensed tour guide for German and English speaking groups, and he works with all denominations.

While attending the Rubin Academy in Jerusalem, he developed an interest in classical music, to include great composers such as Bach, Handel, Beethoven and Mozart. At special sites, Mr. Vichansky likes to treat his group with a small concert in which he plays some of his favorite selections. Mr. Vichansky studied the Old and New Testaments, Archaeology, and History of Arts in preparation for being a professional tour guide.

A fifth generation Israeli, Mr. Vichansky forefathers were fishermen on the Sea of Galilee and carpenters, instrumental in the building of many settlements in Tiberias and around the Sea of Galilee. These same family members fought for the independence of Israel during many of the great battles.

Mr. Vichansky has guided many prominent government and religious leaders over the years from such countries as Nigeria, Germany, Japan, and the United States. He is a very enthusiastic and humorous guide. His dedication to work, passion for details and eagerness to serve make him uniquely qualified to guide pilgrimages to the Holy Land.

Mr. Vichansky looks forward to the opportunity to work with you and your group.
